On the 14th June, 2017, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Luxembourg PM Bettel in the People’s Great Hall. Xi noted that through the past 45 years of China-Luxembourg diplomatic relationship, both sides adhere to the principle of genuine friendship, mutual benefit and win-win progress.

Xi stressed that China supports the building of Zhengzhou-Luxembourg “Air Silk Road”. it is mentioned to enhance the exchange of culture, education, sports, etc, to advance the visa facilitation service.
